ARen stands for Advanced Renamer, and as the name suggests, it is an en masse file renamer which is quick and easy.

Advanced Renamer offers various renaming possibilities, including ID3 tags (for MP3 files). The other modes are increasing numbers, adding prefixes and suffixes, substitute spcific words with others, change uppoer to lower case, etc. With ARen you will find the option that can improve the adjustments to your needs.

ARen also lets you rename the files you choose manually, or even whole directories. The result you can see before running the renaming, in case you make a mistake.
